HAPPY 2016!!!
I know it has been a lloonnggggggg while but its a new year and an opportunity for a fresh start, so even though January has flown by, I still get to wish you all a Happy New Year!!! I hope the year has been off to a great start. Although looking forward to all that this year has to offer, I would like to share my 2015 epilogue with you.

PARENTING IN THE 21ST CENTURY
Life in the 21st century is generally easier than what our forebears had to deal with. We have all sorts of technological innovations to ease our work, the world is now truly a global village and there's easy access to information at our fingertips. The standard of living is also generally higher. Unfortunately, parenting isn't one of those things that has gotten easier.

ACKCENTS EVERYWHERE !
On my way home from work one day it started raining heavily and so I had to wait till the rain subsided.I took shelter in a building and standing beside me on the phone was a man giving someone directions and urging the person to wait for him. After a while it stopped raining and I continued on my way home. When I got to the junction the following ensued:-

A GOD-FEARING MAN
When a lot of Nigerian ladies(this I'm sure of) are asked what kind of man they want to spend the rest of their lives with you'll hear different things but you can almost bet you'll hear "a God-fearing man". I'll admit that I am one of those ladies.I heard this again recently and it got me thinking about what we mean when we say a man is God-fearing.
